Vladislav Kern, Russian-American pianist, was born in Moscow into a family of musicians. He started his music studies in 2005 at the Central Music School at the Moscow State P.I.Tchaikovsky Conservatory - Class of Professor V.V. Piasetsky. From 2011 till 2016 he was a student of The Juilliard School of Music, Pre-College Division - Class of Professor, Doctor Y. Kaplinsky. Since September 2016 he is a student of Academia Pianistica Internazionale "Incontri col Maestro" di Imola - Class of Professor B. Petrushansky. Vladislav received a scholarship from the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation in 2007 and from The Juilliard School of Music in 2011. In 2012, he got the prestigious Van Cliburn scholarship, first time in the history of The Juilliard School, Pre-College Division. In 2016 Vladislav became a Young Steinway Artist.

Debut at Popejoy Hall, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque with New Mexico Philharmonic under baton of Maestro Roberto Minczuk.

Sala Verdi, Conservatorio di Milano, Vladislav and Olga Kern played Mozart double piano concerto in E-flat Major, K. 365/316a with Orchestra Sinfonica di Sanremo under baton of Maestro Giancarlo De Lorenzo.

Vladislav performed Beethoven concerto No. 5 in E-flat Major, Op. 73 ('Emperor') with Bear Valley festival orchestra under baton of Maestro Michael Morgan in Bear Valley, CA, USA.

Vladislav performed a concert together with his mother in Norfolk, Virginia, for the Virginia Arts Festival, USA.
March 12
Paul Recital Hall. Vladislav played his Senior Recital at the Juilliard School, performing J. S. Bach - S. Rachmaninoff Suite from Partita in E Major, F. Liszt Sonata in B minor, V. Bellini - F. Liszt Réminiscences de Norma.

Vladislav won the first price at the Tureck International Bach Competition in New York.

Shared two concerts with his mother Olga Kern in Fort Collins, Colorado as a final concert of The International Keyboard Odyssiad & Festival U.S.A. at CSU and in Bear Valley, California as a part of Bear Valley Music Festival.

Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufmann Music Center - In one evening Vladislav performed solo (Franz Liszt - "Après une Lecture de Dante from Années de pèlerinage: Deuxième année: Italie, Fantasia quasi Sonata"; "Les jeux d'eaux à la Villa d'Este from Années de pèlerinage: Troisième année: Italie") and accompanied cello (Tchaikovsky) and saxophone (Mozart and Demersseman).
